Tatavu Bar & Grill at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort has been named Fiji’s Best Hotel Restaurant 2024 by the World Culinary Awards.
The Mediterranean eatery also features artisan cocktails and iconic coastal flavours fresh from the grill.
The eatery beat out fellow nominees Navo (at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa) and Rara Restautant (at Six Senses Fiji).
“This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering an unforgettable dining experience, blending Fiji’s local flavours with world-class culinary expertise,” said executive chef Rakesh Kumar.
“This accolade is a testament to the passion for Fijian Dining and the work of our chefs who are completely dedicated to their craft.” He said Fiji was growing as an events destination too, which augured well with their farm-to-table concept.
“We are really encouraged by the work our staff does to keep offering new and exciting events, for tourists and locals to participate in,” Mr Kumar said.
“It’s great that the emphasis is on food and drinks, as this fits our brand strategy to grow our reputation for good food and wine.”
