Rikshal Dayal of Wailevu, Labasa believes that there is no age limit in starting off a business.
At only 30 years old, Mr Dayal opened his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, in Labasa Town on Thursday.
Located at Savilla House, Jaduram Street, shop number 14, the youngest of four siblings invested $10,000 to set up his office.
After graduating from University of the South Pacific with Bachelor of Law in 2019, he worked at Sarju Prasad Esquire for six years.
“After becoming the first lawyer in my family, I always dreamt of having my own law firm to serve my people in the hometown,” Mr Dayal said.
“While I am fully aware of the competitive environment and other law firms around, I believe I have the ability to provide the best service.”
Mr Dayal gained experience from his former employer and lawyer, Sarju Prasad.
“No matter what kind of business we do there will always be risk involved and I am fully prepared for it,” he said.
“While many people are saying that there is no job in Labasa, I encourage them to start of their own business and put their skills and talent into use.”
He said Labasa Town was growing at a fast pace and it needs new entrepreneurs.
He thanked his family, wife and in-laws for helping him set up the business.
