Let’s Go Local: Fulaga Is Heaven For Peter Sinclair

Peter Sinclair is the president of Fiji cycling association.

The Aussie man had lived in Fiji for more than 15 years and now calls it home.

Mr Sinclair aims to develop cycling in Fiji to national level.

 

“I was born and raised in Australia, but I consider Fiji as my home,”Mr Sinclair said.

“I have lived and worked here for more than 15 years and loved the amazing scenery.”

Mr Sinclair holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Master’s degree in hydrogeology.

 

He has 15 years’ experience in Australia working on assessment, development, and management of a range of groundwater systems including large alluvial systems and fractured and porous rock systems.

He is interested in developing localised solutions relevant to local needs.

 

How many places have you been around Fiji?
I have been as far as east of Cicia , north of Taveuni, south of Kadavu, in the West, as far as the Yasawa’s, and hoping to explore more.

What is one place in Fiji You would take visitors to?
To visit the beautiful people of Nabutautau in Sigatoka and its beautiful scenery.

 

What is your favourite place for coffee pie?
Café planet, Korotogo Sigatoka.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Looking forward to the pump track in Laucala Bay, Suva.

 

What is one place in Fiji that remains in your bucket list, and why?
Fulaga , Southern Lau.

I heard it’s heaven on earth.
