Bank South Pacific opened its Navua branch on Monday.
“We are excited to move to a more central location to better serve our customers within the Serua/Namosi area and in a new building that provides a larger banking chamber and offers more car park space to accommodate business growth,” said BSP Country Head, Haroon Ali.
During this transition, there will be temporary disruption to branch operations.
The Pacific Harbour Branch closed permanently at 4pm yesterday to allow for the movement of physical assets and systems to the new location.
“We confirm that there will be no job losses as a result of this branch relocation and all 7 staff are excited to move into their new office,” Mr Ali said.
He explained that the Bank from time to time reviews its ongoing operations to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
“We will continue to retain a strong branch presence to serve business and personal banking customers that prefer to use our branch network.”
BSP now has 16 branches, 121 ATMs and more than 2,000 BSP POS terminals, nationwide.
