International buyers are overwhelmed with the level of professionalism displayed at the inaugural Fijian Tourism Expo in Denarau Island Convention Centre.
While it was still quite early to tell buyer (s) intention to sell or promote a particular product or service in their homeland, two buyers explained why this new event is working.
Outstanding
Korean-based Dream Islands Operations director Brian Kim said he was here last year during the old Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange.
“I found that this event is actually much bigger and it’s much better than last year’s,” Mr Kim said.
“I met some sellers here and I find that they are very interested in the Korean market so whenever I propose something to them their feedback is quite positive so I’ve received a couple of offers from them.”
Australian-based Essence Tours Queensland manager Robyn Mahoney was in Vanuatu recently for a similar expo.
“This is the first time I’ve been at the conference…. I’m really enjoying it.”
There’s 150 buyers and 250 tourism operators.
