Lights off, resort

Guests and staff of the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji at Denarau Island last night marked Earth Hour.
General manager said Gerard Knight this voluntary movement was marked at all Radisson resorts around the globe. The resort turned off all lights surrounding the main entrance, main building, pool area and pathway lights. It also created a candlelight experience in its restaurants and bar. Earth Hour was famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide.
