Warwick International Hotel (WIH) Group announced several new appointments in executive positions.
This is the new centralised sales team following the restructuring of the sales team in Fiji.
Vivienne Valentine has been appointed as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing – Pacific.
Prior to joining the Warwick International Hotel Group, Ms Valentine was with Tourism Fiji as Regional Marketing Officer based in Fiji and later Australia.
She has extensive work experience in Tourism Destination Marketing and holds a Masters in International Studies from the University of Sydney as well as BA in Tourism/Management & PublicAdministration from the University of the South Pacific.
Taking up the role of MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibition) & Wedding Sales Manager for WIH Group – Fiji is Milika Taukei.
Prior to her new appointment, Ms Taukei held the position of Senior Sales Manager for Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa for over one year, overseeing the sales and reservations team.
Her hospitality stint started with Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort, then to Outrigger on the Lagoon before being part of the pre-opening team at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa as BDM – MICE for 3 years.
Ms Taukei has nine years of experience in the area MICE & Weddings.
Aina Hassan is the new Corporate/Government Sales Manager for WIH Group – Fiji. Ms Hassan joined the Naviti Resort in 1995 in the Front Office Department. She spent 12 years in the Front Office Department holding the position of Front Office Manager.
She worked in both Naviti & Warwick Fiji before she was promoted to Sales Manager position in 2008.
Two years later she was promoted to Sales & Marketing Manager for Naviti Resort and held this position for the last 3 years.
Ms Hassan is currently pursuing her degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management at the University of the South Pacific.
Loata Vulaca is the new Public Relations & Marketing Manager for the Warwick International Group – Fiji.
She joined the Tourism Industry in 2005 as secretary and with a keen interest in Sales, she moved on to the Sales Department. After four years, she was promoted to Sales Manager.
In 2010 Ms Vulaca was offered the position of Public Relations and Marketing manager for Warwick Group Fiji. With this role on hand, she was also offered the Sales & Marketing Manager role for Tokatoka Resort, Nadi after the Warwick Group acquired the hotel in 2012.
Ms Vulaca is a Fiji National University graduate and currently pursuing her degree at the University of the South Pacific in Tourism & Hospitality Management.
