A forum allowing retailers in Suva a chance to gain better understanding of the tax developments, policy implementation to name a few will be held 9am today at the Fiji Club.
The forum anticipated for three hours has been organised by the Suva Retailers Association and facilitated by the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority.
Suva Retailers Himmat Lodhia said this is a chance for small business owners to take advantage of the training.
“We’re encouraging those ‘mom-and-pop’ shops to come and join the free session as they would have the chance to ask and discuss issues that affects their business as far as tax and customs is concerned,” Mr Lodhia said.
“This is a chance for you to grow your business. To gain firsthand knowledge from the experts themselves.
“The last forum we hosted was a success. We were expected around 50 people but over 80 turned up.”
Mr Lodhia said he expects most business houses to turn up again in full force.
