The tourism capital, Nadi continues to grow with increased confidence and investments.
A new store, Laajawaab Collection, opened up on Thursday night at the Lale’s Complex in Martintar, which is a five minutes drive from Nadi town.
It’s a boutique and jeweller’s shop combined.
Lale’s Millennium Group of Companies managing director,Usman Ali, said: “It is unique and convenience to public because it is an exclusive Indian clothing retail store.”
The store houses all range and sizes of clothing for women, men and kids all imported from India.
“We have the latest fashions including authentic bridal attire at the best prices and we have hand-crafted items like jewellery and scarves,” Mr Alisaid.

Own idea evolves to investment
He said the concept of the clothing store was his own idea which is involved ‘a very big investment’.
He said the idea came after what he had seen about the clothing in Fiji and in his visit to India and other countries.
“The prices and the qualities of the clothes came to my mind that you need to serve the public to the outmost and try to associate with them by assisting with their demand,” Mr Ali said.
“The range and the quality makes us transparent so that the public can select the right clothing, and make the right choice, and right material, to their satisfaction.”

The group operations
The Lale’s Group operates a 24-hours Pacific Energy service station, 24-hour fast food takeaway and pizza, real estate, second hand car dealer, tyre sales, LTA-approved car tinting, New India insurance agent, boxing promoting and a business arm in New Zealand.
LaajawaabCollection currently employs 15 staff while the group has about 70.
The store opens seven days a week, from 9am–9pm.
