Former general manager of Vinaka Fiji and owner of the Veikau Lodge Elenoa Nimacere has died.
She hailed from the Naitasiri province and was a member of the Naitasiri Provincial Council.
Nimacere had many years of experience with tourism operation in the Yasawas.
She was:
- a former hospitality manager at South Sea Cruises and Awesome Adventure,
- a former manager operation at Lomani Island Resort, the former product development manager at South Cruises and Awesome Adventures Fiji Limited and former Vinaka Fiji Yasawa Trust Foundation manager — the charity arm of South Sea Cruises.
Nimacere played an instrumental role in the development of the Yasawa group.
To everyone in Yasawa, she was known simply as Elle.

She was also involved in a charitable organisation that provided aid to the people of Yasawa and contributed to the business development of her vanua.
She established the eco-tourism business, Veikau Lodge, near Nawaqabena Village in Naitasiri.
Nimacere contributed to promoting Naitasiri as a thriving eco-tourism destination.
“Many of us had the privilege of working alongside Elle at South Seas Cruises, where she effortlessly transitioned through ranks to management level, earning her the title of the ‘awesome lady’ among all who knew her,” spokesperson Kamenieli Matai said.
Ms Nimacere is survived by her husband and three children.
