Pinto Industries Pte Limited has taken a lead role in carrying out a $5 million project in Vanua Levu.
A ceremony was held yesterday to mark the commencement of construction of Courts Mega in Labasa Town. Managing director Vishal Narayan said the building was demolished after the last occupants vacated the premises.
“We begin the proper construction of Vision Investments Limited’s Courts Mega, similar to what they have set up in Samabula,” Mr Narayan said.
“It will take us about one year and two months to build a two-storey building which will have one escalator.”
Labasa Town Council special administrator chairperson Paul Jaduram commended the use of local contractors for the project.
“We encourage our people to use what is available in Fiji,” Mr Jaduram said.
