There is a huge market for plus-size Indian attire that mainstream boutiques do not cater to.
Neiha Rukshaar Nisha drew from that to start her own business – a boutique that specializes in Indian attire for ladies.
It happened during COVID-19, when she and her husband worked reduced hours.
“We had initially started this business in 2015, but shut it down in 2016,” she said.
In 2020, Ms Nisha reopened her business, Ruksha Collection.
Ms Nisha was born and raised in Wairabetia, Lautoka.
She completed her secondary school education at Pandit Vishnu Deo Memorial College and continued her tertiary education at University of Fiji, where she studied a Diploma in Management and Accounting.
She is a Senior Accountant at Pacific Design & Build Pte Limited based in Nadi.
