Mohammed Aruf Khan invested 30 years of his life to set up three different types of businesses for his children so that he can use his retirement to travel around the islands in Fiji.
The 50-year-old businessman of Natua, Seaqaqa, Macuata recently opened Natua Nigona Chino at Damodar City in Labasa where his only daughter Zahin Khan is the director.
To his oldest son, Mohammed Zulfikar Khan, he gave him the privilege to continue his rental business by the name, Natua Rentals in Vanua Levu.
While his second child, Mohammed Ziahul Khan is managing the Natua Civil Contractors Pte Limited in Labasa as the director.
Mr Khan said his hobby was travelling and he has been on numerous business trips overseas.
Despite been out of the country, he considers Fiji the best tourism destination and safest place on earth.
“I have Fiji at heart and that is why I invested business here and encouraged my children to continue my legacy,” Mr Khan said.
“Although I am from a small place in Vanua Levu, I worked very hard from a young age to achieve my ambition.”
