Let’s Go Local: Fond Memories for Fashion Designer

He started in 2015 as a student designer, but over the next several years, Laisiasa Raibevu Davetawalu grew to become one of the countrys next leading young designers.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Fashion Design from the Fashion Design Studio at TAFE New South Wales in Australia, Mr Davetawalu returned home to put his refined skills and knowledge into practice.

Today, the fashion designer runs his own studio and brand Elaradi, making seasonal capsule collections and custom-made clothing ranging from dresses and vests to jackets and trousers.

Mr Davetawalu shared a little bit of insight with SunBiz into his top local food and travel destinations as well as his love for designing and the local fashion industry.
