The return of the Cost-U-Less outlet in Namaka, Nadi after a lapse of two decades speaks volumes.
Nadi Special Administrators chair Lawrence Kumar made those comments during the tour of the retail giant’s second outlet, which opened for business in the tourist town on Wednesday.
Located at CT 9896 Namaka Lane in Nadi, the outlet’s opening hours is from 8am to 10pm seven days a week.
Centrally located in Namaka, the building landlord has undertaken an investment to upgrade the property which includes the construction of a concrete car park that will be convenient for the retail giant’s customers.
“Cost-U-Less has once again regained confidence in the township of Nadi after two decades and the Nadi Town Council welcomes the US-based retail giant back,” he said.
Mr Kumar said this outlet further enhances confidence to invest and contribute to the economic activities.
He added that Cost-U-Less is a go to local warehouse retailer, offering a wide variety of fresh grocery and general merchandise items that customers can depend on to run their homes or business.
Customer Allen Stevens said: ”It is a good thing for them to return and set up here in Nadi.”
Cost-U-Less on its Facebook page had posted: “West Fiji residents rejoice! We are opening a second Cost-U-Less store in Nadi. Now shoppers and businesses on the west side of the island canBuy Bulk and Save with our curated selection of club-size grocery products, household essentials, general merchandise, and more.”
The official opening will be held on August 23.
