It was not an easy journey for Elenoa Caginitoba Sorby who is the current business owner of Gentler Comfort, which specialises in making bed nest for babies.
Ms Sorby was studying Bachelor of Banking at Fiji National University (FNU) in Nasinu campus in 2013 but had to leave school the same year to give birth to her son, Andrea Dautei.
The mother of two then resumed studies in 2016 after giving birth to her daughter because she was able to attain a scholarship through the Tertiary Education Loan Scheme (TELS).
However, luck was not by her side as her then husband left her with her two children, forcing her to leave school so she could look after her children on her own.
“I felt heartbroken and betrayed after the father of my children left, but I had to tell myself to be tough and to think of my two children. Luckily, my parents were there for me from day one until now,” she said.
