Women entrepreneurs from all the country were part of the launch of the Sisters Business logo which was unveiled at the Vodafone Arena yesterday.
Vision Investment Fiji chief operating officer Sanjesh Prasad said, the unveiling of the new courts sisters in business logo signifies a journey after a brief pause during the pandemic.
Mr Prasad said, Courts sisters’ business will always stand by women entrepreneurs and will help them not only find their markets but also grow and bloom into formalised establishments.
“With the number of women entrepreneurs grown over the years and they have also become aware of their existence, rights and their contribution to the Fijian economy,”
Growing Partnership
General Manager SPBD Fiji Elrico Munoz said, the partnership with courts has grown over the years and has enabled women from rural and outer islands to build their
own home based business and save money as well.
Mr Munoz said, the whole purpose of the relaunch is to empower women not only to provide them job opportunities but also to provide for the society at large.
“Courts has dedicated sisters in business unit that has been enabling women entrepreneurs by developing their purchasing power with the provision of household and commercial items,”
“It will also showcase their merchandise with the intent to establish their presence and be equally recognized as a trader in the Fiji markets,” Mr Munoz said. id.
