The refurbishment of Alminhaj Apartments post covid has had a cost of 1.2M to completely overhaul the apartments to welcome international guests after almost 2 years of the COVID 19 Crisis.
Freddys Marketing Company Limited is a business that has been in the tourism industry for almost 20 years.
Freddys Marketing specializes in local and imported produce whereas the trading company Alminhaj Apartments specializes in affordable luxury accommodation.
Freddy real estate said, earlier the parent company of Alminhaj Apartments is Freddys Marketing, a company that has been operational for almost over 20 years now and is a well known local and imported produce supplier to most hotels and islands in Fiji.
The directors also own Freddys Real Estate which deals with affordable accommodation in the heart of Namaka Town and rents it to Aviation students who are in the proximity of the school along with Freddys Investment, Freddys Investment is currently in the process of building another set of
Apartments next to Alminhaj Apartments with 18 bed and 18 bath which will be sub leased to Alminhaj Apartments for tourism purpose to meet high demand for rooms to tourists and locals which will be ready by mid September.
The company also has a 13-acre beachfront property in coral coast to which the directors plan is to build a restaurant and a convenience stop over and accommodation for motorists travelling to Nadi – Suva.
Freddy’s real estate said the biggest challenge in the past 10 years has been the unexpected COVID 19 crisis that hit the shores in 2020.
‘Thus, damaging the business economically as borders were shut down. We are currently facing challenges such as competition from nearby hotels and apartments, however we are doing fairly well as tourism is now returning to normal.”
Alminhaj Apartments is based in the heart of the Namaka Town 5 minutes away from the Nadi international Airport and is a 100% Fijian owned company.
