Locally-owned Vision Motors is awaiting the arrival of its next fleet of vehicles for Government after winning a tender bid.
Company general manager Ajay Lal confirmed about 133 units of Chevrolet vehicles and Maxus vans would be handed over to Government soon.
“The Government deal was won through a tender process. There will be four different types which are categorically priced between $42,000 to $100,000,” he said.
Mr Lal said the deal shows the confidence Government has in the company.
The key difference the company considers is the service ability or after sales service.
“Our competitors have been around for a very long time with some very good established products and very strong name in the market,” Mr Lal said.
“What we are doing different from them is stamping a mark above them in terms of service so that customers remember us for a very long time.
“There is no such thing as sell and forget in our industry because these are large items where customers put in large investments from their life savings.
“It boils down to some levels of moral responsibility to support those customers in seeing that their investments are being well-planned.”
The company is planning bigger things this year.
