A sight to see was the vessel DONGBANG number 1 as it came for the first time to our shores.
The vessel berthed at Port of Suva yesterday is being handled by Pacific Agencies (Fiji) Limited.
Pacific Agencies said it is a heavy cargo carrier, a self-propelled barge carrying three large iceplants from the United States of America to Australia.
While transiting through Fiji it took bunkers of 60 metric tons, provisions and fresh water.
The vessel’s last port was the US and its next port is Gladstone in Australia.
