The well-known One Dollar Shop in Raojibhai Patel Steeet, Suva, has closed.
This followed after the owners of the building, are understood to have migrated to Australia.
The entire building housing the One Dollar Shop, and adjoining P.D. Patel and Company shop, along with a restaurant and a car park, was owned by P.D. Patel & Co (PTY) Limited.
The building is understood to be on the market with some Chinese investors interested to purchase the property.
Comments from the owners of the shop and the building could not be established.
Sun Business also understands that there is now increasing in Asian investment in Suva property.
