Friendly competition is what Able Computing (Fiji) Limited plans to do to with its newly-opened branch on Namaka Lane in Nadi.
Branch manager Cloyd Martinez said: “One of the biggest challenge at the moment is competition from similar information technology retailing companies.
“Friendly competition in terms of promotional bundles adverts on television, print media, radio, social media sites and our website.
“We may be new but we offer more choices to people which is good for business. Our customers are normally schools, government departments and corporate companies,” he said.
The Nadi launch follows the successful start of the leading Papua New Guinea IT company’s operations at Walu Bay in Suva.
He added: “We have a sales representative, technician, cashier, driver and a branch manager. I hope this shop expands in the future so that it will create more employment and business.
“We need more exposure so we have been advertising in the newspaper and we will be looking at other modes as well,” he said.
