Pacific Destinationz has been shortlisted as one of the three finalists in the Transport Facilitators category of the AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards 2013.
It is a respected inbound travel and transport management company which has been in existence in Fiji for over 15 years.
The awards night will be held on February 21 at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau Island in Nadi.
Managing director James Sowana said they were privileged to be nominated.
“In my view, the three finalists are all winners in our own ways and are true examples of industry stakeholders that continue to commit to invest and operate quality services in our respective businesses,” he said.
“Our company has a very proud history from our humble beginnings in 1999 with four staff to our current young and dynamic team of 104.
“They have worked very hard over the past 15 years to position our company to where it is today – one which services over 70,000 international visitors to Fiji annually.
“Our humble success is attributed mainly to our team who believe in our company mission to ‘consistently provide a high quality, reputable and cost effective inbound travel management service to our international visitors to Fiji’.”
Mr Sowana said their mark of quality focus was reflected in their team, expanding fleet of quality vehicles, office and work environment, day tours, community projects and marketing activities in targeted international markets.
“Through our collective investment and commitment to Fiji, we will ensure that destination Fiji is the ultimate winner in the hearts of our international visitors,” he said.
