Kamal Haer
The InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has appointed Kamal Haer as the new area director of Marketing and Sales.
Ms Haer joins following an extensive search across Bangkok, Singapore and Sydney.
She will be responsible for a number of the resorts strategic objectives including maximising the benefits of hosting the inaugural Fiji PGA Golf Event this year.
She will also be repositioning the resorts Club InterContinental and establishing a permanent sales and marketing presence in the western seaboard of the United States to drive incentive business.
Ms Haer will also be responsible for the marketing and sales of Holiday Inn Suva and Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu.
She joins from ANZ Bank where she held the position of as head of Marketing, Retail Sales and Distribution, Fiji and Pacific.
She also has airline, telecommunications, and financial services industry experience.
