Radisson Bu Resort (Fiji) records good year last year.

The year 2013 had been a record year for multi-awarding winning resort – Radisson Blu Resort (Fiji) on Denarau Island in Nadi.
The resort bounced back bigger and better with almost all previous key performance indicator records exceeded.
Resort director sales and marketing Suzie Jones said: “Our previous occupancy and average daily rate achievements were improved upon for eleven of the twelve months in 2013.
“At the same time profit will exceeding targets for all but one of the months during the year,” she said.
“Results like these make for a happy ownership and definitely support a management company with aggressive growth plans.”
Maintaining guest satisfaction
With much higher occupancy levels, the challenge for the resort has been maintaining guest satisfaction levels.
Ms Jones said: “The team certainly rose to the challenge and as the year progressed, levels of customer satisfaction lifted to reach the targets levels set.
“This was despite the significantly increased expectation that have resulted from charging higher prices over this year’s high season.”
Tourism award nominations
The resort has been nominated in the Accommodation Deluxe category of 2013 AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards. The event will be held on February 21.
What this awards means to the resort
Ms Jones said: “As always, being a finalist for a well recognised industry award represents fantastic recognition for the team at Radisson Blu, after a year of very hard work and commitment to our industry.
“The team here are Hospitality Professionals and such recognition motivates them to deliver even better customer service in 2014.”
