
New Zealand Professional Conference Organisers experience the Sigatoka River Safari thrill which was part of their three-day famil. They were hosted by InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa.

Fiji is seeing renewed interest from the meetings, incentives, conferencing, exhibitions (MICE) markets, says InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa general manager, Scott Williams.
He comments follow the resort recently playing host to four New Zealand Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) in a successful three-day famil.
The famil featured a range of indulgent experiences and authentic cultural tours.
“Our PCO famils not only give us a platform to showcase the extraordinary MICE experiences Natadola Bay has to offer. But, most importantly, it provide us with the opportunity to promote Fiji as an authentic MICE destination,” he said.
“Delegates rediscover the beautiful surrounds, famous Fijian hospitality, and our rich cultural heritage. We are proud to be a part of this process of discovery.”
Mr Williams said the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is a delight for delegates, offering something for everyone.

The experience
The famil began with a traditional Fijian welcome, before drinks in Kama Lounge and dinner in Navo, the resort’s exquisite fine-dining restaurant.
The PCOs explored the stunning grounds of the resort and the championship greens of the Natadola Bay course, home to the Fiji International; the newest tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia.
The delegates shook things up in the afternoon with a cocktail making Masterclass in Kama Lounge followed by a Reef Safari snorkeling tour on the ever-beautiful Natadola Bay.
InterContinental Fiji’s signature Cleopatra Bath Ritual completed the day for each attendee in the privacy of their Club InterContinental suites.
To complete the indulgent famil, the PCOs also had the chance to experience the excitement of the Sigatoga River Safari with Pacific Destinationz, before relaxing with a signature treatment at the indulgent Spa InterContinental.
