Pleass Global Limited has announced plans for the construction of its new corporate head office and water bottling factory in Namosi.
The location in Namosi is at the source of AquaSafe and VaiWai natural artesian water.
The factory completion is expected to be by late next year.
The board of directors yesterday made the announcement of the signing of both a construction contract and the necessary finance arrangements for this through the South Pacific Stock Exchange.
The company is currently operating out of Walu Bay in Suva.
Chairman Warwick Pleass said in addition to board confidence in the company future, he is pleased to have the support and endorsements from the Namosi Provincial Council and Tui Namosi Ratu Suliani Matanitobua.
In 2009 the company acquired over 420 acres of freehold land at Namosi.
120 acres has been set aside for company operations, encompassing the head office and water bottling, Kila Eco Adventure Park and Kila Organics farming.
On the remaining 300 plus acres, the company has plans to develop a residential, commercial and industrial subdivision called Kila Estates.

The construction phase
Whilst phase 1 was the completion of the farm and in-bound tourism improvements, the announcement yesterday was related to phase 2 of the development.
This includes the offices, water factory and associated residences.
Mr Pleass said the board has been patiently waiting for the right time to commence construction of the water factory, and the right market conditions now prevail.
“Phase 2 costs are over $7 million financed from both internal and external sources,” he said.
Mr Pleass said he, the board and entire management team, had plans well in hand and all look forward to this exciting new period of company development.
