New York – Joe Soeker, a real estate marketing man, has put his beachfront home on Viti Levu on sale for US$850,000 (FJ$1.6 million).
This estate features three villas, a secluded white-sand beach and a personal dock, which provides easy access to the Pacific Ocean.
Mr Soecker, also the property developer, first envisioned this island getaway in 2009 and completed construction in 2010 and has lived on the estate for a year.
It is located in the southern region of Viti Levu and sits on 0.8 acre site on the beach.
There’s an extensive outer and inner coral reef protecting the property from high surf.
Mr Soecker says even during the summer, “the private beach stays calm.”
A dock, just a short walk from the property, provides boat owners with easy access to the sea.
He said a boat is a must to take full advantage of the island lifestyle. The wealth of diving spots are, he says, “a mariner’s dream and surfer’s paradise.”
The hand-carved furniture in the house is included. “All you need is your toothbrush,” Mr Soecker said.
