Chairman: Tevita Kuruvakadua

A new chairman has been appointed for Fiji Ports Corporation Limited.
Tevita Kuruvakadua was appointed last month along with other members of the board.
Mr Kuruvakadua’s appointment follows the departure his predecessor, David Kolitagane.
Also appointed as members of the board are Commissioner Western, Commander Joeli Cawaki, lawyer Vijay Maharaj and Unit Trust of Fiji general manager Vilash Chand.
Fiji Ports also has two subsidiaries; Ports Terminal Limited and Fiji Ships and Heavy Industries Limited.
The company is a wholly-owned Government commercial entity and operates under the legal ambit of the Public Enterprises Act 1996, Seaports Management Act 2005 and the Companies Act.
