The South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPSE) is once again organising its famous one-hour seminar conducted during lunch to be held in Suva.
The seminar will be held on August 22 at the De Vos on the Park in Suva and will commence at 1pm.
This is a free of charge event, however registration is vital.
South Pacific Stock Exchange chief executive, Jinita Prasad ,said “Investing is about taking an active role in putting your money to work for you, rather than letting it sit in a low interest bearing deposit account.
“Many people who agree that shares should be part of their investment portfolio often hesitate when it comes to actually buying the shares usually because they are not sure if it is the best time to buy or the process involved”.”
Ms Prasad also highlighted that your success in the share market involves the right combination of strategies and advice to ensure you participate in the market confidently and minimise your risks.
“The presence of stockbrokers and the investment advisers during this information session will ensure you receive a proper advice and get access to all relevant information before buying shares,” she said.
Ms Prasad is urging the investors who have recently received shares under the FNPF Share Investment Scheme to attend this session.
She stressed they will also get a chance to interact with the stockbrokers who can help them decide whether they should hold, buy more or sell their shares.
