In a bid to promote financial literacy amongst the younger generation, BSP Life has gone ahead with sponsoring $10,000 for the Tadra Kahani this year.
BSP Life managing director, Malakai Naiyaga, yesterday handed over the sponsorship cheque to Total Event Company manager, Loretta Jackson, yesterday.
Mr Naiyaga said they were sponsoring the event because they feel the things the younger generation do is important and therefore highlighting issues that affect their lives is important.
“For us, contributing to this, hopefully in a way promotes financial literacy which I understand one of the schools will be performing on,” he said.
The overall theme for schools participating in Tadra Kahani this year is Positive Lifestyle.
It will be held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva on Thursday August 15.
The show is about young people 6-19 years old, expressing a positive lifestyle message using creative arts in dance and music. The theme is expressed in the story line of production.
BSP Life is about supplying financial tools to assist people fulfill their life plans and protecting the ones they love.
