With Eid al-Fitr just around the corner, Sun Business takes you to a tour of companies that have something for their staff and customers for the special day.
Jack’s Little India outlet was buzzing with people as they made their way to get the best offer on clothes and jewelry.
Alvin Prasad, Sales Assistant, said: “We are happy to meet the customers’ demands and needs and we want them to have the best of the deals.
“The clothes and jewelries are of an affordable price and better quality and people have appreciated our offer as we offer the best in what-ever we do.

Honouring staff religion
The company will be giving a day off to their Muslim staff to celebrate Eid on which ever day falls this week as the celebration depends on the sighting of the moon.
“Also we will be visiting their homes with some gifts as they have already invited us,” Mr Prasad said.
For the 30 days of fasting, the company also allowed staff to leave early to break their fast.
“Also if they worked late, we organised and accommodated for them at the shop to break their fast at the shop and whenever they had to pray in the day time, they were given chance to do so,” Mr Prasad said.
Mobile companies have fully entered the spirit of Eid.
Vodafone has made special arrangements for both staff and customers.
