An Australian entrepreneur is in Fiji to expand her business of elderly rehabilitation care with the hope to assist elderly people.
Anda Lawson is willing to expand her business in Fiji with an investment of a quarter million dollars.
She said Fiji has a high ageing population which is one of her reasons to invest in the country.
“There is an aging population in the country and plus I have a heart for helping out the elderly,” Ms Lawson said.
“We will be offering services at a competitive price and we want people to come forward and seek assistance from us.”
Services for elderly
Ms Lawson said her business will be providing a range of services to the elderly such as Salt therapy, halotherapy or speleotherapy from salt caves.
She said she wants people to know that there are other kinds of treatment available other than medication from pharmacies.
“We will be providing a salt care whereby salt acts as inhalers better than the ones in pharmacy,” she said.
“We will have ‘halo pot’ which people can put in their rooms and breathe; this is good for people with sinus and breathing problems.”
Nand’s partnership
Ms Lawson will be working together with Nand’s Pharmacy for importing salt from salt caves.
“This is our first business in the Pacific and we will work together Nand’s Pharmacies. Mr Abhay Nand the Director who wishes to assist me,” she said.
“We will be called the ‘Twilight Years,’ with the slogan ‘Care and Comfort in the years that matter,’ and will be located at the old KFC building.
“We want Fijians to have access to good health product and the products will be available at the pharmacy even before our shop opens.
“After we see how the business goes in Fiji we will then expand our branches but first I hope to see good feedback from the Fijians.”
