Asco Motors opens dealership store in North

A minute of silence was observed in remembrance of the late Tui Macuata Ratu Aisea Katoinvere at the opening of the Asco Motors new $400,000 Labasa Dealership at Nasekula.
It was an emotional moment as the late Tui Macuata had contributed enormously to the Labasa business community.
Asco Motors chief executive officer and director, Abdul Hafiz, said the new the dealership complex marked another milestone for the company.
He hoped that the opening of the facility will provide the Labasa community the best customer service and a safe comfortable environment for the staff.

Commitment to the North
“This huge initiative signifies the company’s commitment to the North and the company is determined to remain the leading motor dealer in the country,” Mr Hafiz said.
“With this achievement it is a proof of commitment to the Northern economy.
“The business community of Labasa is confident that more developers and investors will establish their business in the North due to this great achievement.”
Managing Director of Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings Limited and chief guest Shigeru Ito was flown in the country specifically for the event.
The dealership complex was opened by Mr Ito and Mr Hafiz.
The new complex is one the first kind in Labasa, having a fully-fledged showroom, a customer lounge and space for the Avis Rental Cars.
The back facility features the Fixed Operations Area, and fully-fledged Body and Paint booth.
The complex is equipped with modern art equipment and the latest technology to ensure that is provides the best service to its customers.
