KPMG Fiji has appointed two new partners to support the expansion of he firm’s growth in the South Pacific.
Marissa Apted and Mohammed Khan are based in the KPMG Suva office.
KPMG Fiji managing partner Lisa Apted said the firm was on a forward pathway of growth since 2021, with the upgrade and expansion of KPMG’s Fiji office network and human resources.
KPMG Fiji workforce now grows to nine partners and 334 staff members, she said.
Mr Khan, the audit and assurance partner began his career with KPMG Fiji 14 years ago, where he worked with clients both in Fiji and across the Pacific Island countries in the superannuation, telecommunication, banking, financial services, and manufacturing industries.
Ms Apted, the advisory partner, joined KPMG in Sydney in 2004 as a graduate accountant before moving to the KPMG Suva office in 2016.
Her areas of speciality include risk consulting, people consulting and transaction advisory services for a range of clients across various industries in Fiji and the Pacific.
The duo’s appointments to the partnership is effective from July 1.
