The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua signed a two-year new partnership deal with TotalEnergies at the Total Energies Headquarters in Walu Bay, Suva yesterday.
Fijian Drua chief executive officer Mark Evans said it was a delightful occasion to include a global brand like Total Energies as part of sponsorship vuvale.
“We welcome Total Energies to the Drua vuvale as we get ready to embark on just our third season of Super Rugby Pacific,” he said.
“TotalEnergies’ support of rugby and sports in Fiji and globally has been quite evident, including at the recent Rugby World Cup which they sponsored.”
Mr Evans said the sponsorship extended to the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women’s as well.
“We are buoyed by TotalEnergies goal of introducing renewable energy options at its service stations around Fiji,” he said.

“We will work with them to actively reduce our own carbon footprint and together with our motor vehicle fleet partner Palas. We will look to move into the Electric Vehicle (EV) space as infrastructure allows.”
Mr Evans said people can expect new exciting promotions and events between the two brands.
“As TotalEnergies was one of the official sponsors of the Rugby World Cup last year, it was a big event that we looked forward to,” TotalEnergies managing director, Dennis Michael Cuaycong said.
Mr Cuaycong said he hoped to build and strengthen the Fijian Drua brand.
