Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) has introduced a new and improved Employer Self-Service Portal that delivers better, more convenient features to Fijian employers.
The launch of the Employer Self-Service Portal 2.0 coincided with FNPF’s employer appreciation cocktail held at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva on Wednesday.
FNPF chief information technology officer Rukshan Rajapaksha confirmed that the project had been two years in the making.
“We did this in several phases,” he said.
“We wanted to empower our employers and ensure that our services were right at their fingertips.
“When it comes to employers, convenience is key for them.”
The enhanced portal now offers over 8000 registered employers in Fiji the ability to do more than just submit contributions.
According to Mr Rajapaksha, employers can carry out member registrations, track outstanding debts and payments, obtain statements and other documents, and view Departure Prohibition Orders among other features, all within the portal.
“We received a lot of feedback from our employers, who said that they’re really happy with these changes,” he said.
“We’re always open to feedback so that we can improve the delivery of our services.”
Mr Rajapaksha said it cost FNPF nearly $200,000 to revamp the Employer Self-Service Portal.
