Let’s Go Local: Campaign for Japan Travellers Underway

Tourism Fiji and Fiji Airways have launched a marketing campaign on Expedia Japan to promote the non-stop flight from Narita to Nadi.

From November to early December this year, the campaign caters to Japanese travellers with special offers from Fiji Airways and Fijian hotel partners looking to deliver memorable experiences for them.

Tourism Fiji said it had planned the campaign through its Asia team in collaboration with Fiji Airways.

“As the national tourist organisation of Fiji, Tourism Fiji actively seeks opportunities to promote the destination, with the Expedia Japan campaign being a key example planned by our Asia team, in our important Japan market,” Tourism Fiji said.

“With Fiji Airways being our national carrier and flying direct from Narita to Nadi twice a week, we want to support that route and market, and our objectives are aligned, hence we work hand in hand to raise awareness and attract more Japanese travellers to Fiji.

“The campaign, supported by around 20 Fijian hotels offering special deals, signifies a comprehensive effort to grow the Japanese market, developed by Vincent Zheng, our regional director – Asia.”

As Japan’s outbound tourism continues to rise, Tourism Fiji’s proactive engagement in this market holds the promise of fostering sustained growth and establishing Fiji as a coveted destination for Japanese visitors, the tourism office said.
