The Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation has welcomed two new women board members.
Rowena Taito and Sharyne Fong replace Eseta Nadakuitavuki on two positions she held at FCEF before taking up her new role as the Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation.
Westpac Fiji Head of Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Sustainability, Rowena Taito is the new elected board member.
While Leadership Fiji’s chief executive officer, Sharyne Fong is the Women Entrepreneurs and Business Council (WEBC) interim chair. She was the WEBC vice chair.
They replace Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Eseta Nadakuitavuki who was a FCEF vice president and WEBC chair.
FCEF president Vinay Narsey said both women bring wealth of experience, through their strong leadership skills that would continue the great work that FCEF has already embarked on.
“Ms Taito came in as a Westpac nominee and has a background in marketing while Ms Fong has been heavily involved with WEBC.
“There are some other vacant spots left throughout the year, but with the AGM being in September I think we look forward to filling the vacant spots,” Mr Narsey said.
