Mosese Durutalo plans to be a hotel manager in his lifetime.
His vast work experience has all the makings to suggest so.
On board Captain Cook’s Fiji One dinner cruise out of Port Denarau, he is master of the house.
Mr Durutalo has served the tourism industry in capacities that even took him as a expatriate to the Cooks.
“I am happy to be back with Captain Cook Cruises; I love my job,” he said.
High achiever
A graduate in hospitality, tourism and pastry studies, with a Diploma in Hotel Management, Mr Durutalo joined Rarotongan Beach Resort and Spa in Cook Islands, where he worked in housekeeping, food and beverage, and reception.
He earned his way to front office supervisor and duty manager, until he returned to Fiji in 2016, to work for Goundar Shipping Limited on board Lomaiviti Princess One.
Mr Durutalo also worked for Interlink Shipping onboard Westerland before he joined Captain Cook Cruises in 2018.
He handles public relations for cruises to Captain Cook Cruises’ own Tivua Private Island.
Mr Durutalo has worked for South Sea Cruises and Masala Twist Restaurant in Martintar.
