Commercial fishermen in the country need to catch approximately 880 kilograms of tuna to breakeven, Fiji Fishing Industry Association (FFIA) said.
President, Radhika Kumar made the comment during discussions at the inaugural Fiji Tuna Symposium at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
The two-day symposium called for Government, civil society organisations and non-government organisations to end ‘working in silos’, to meet the international market demands.
