Vodafone Fiji used the 2013 Showcase as an avenue to give its customers a feel of the latest high-end smartphones.
These included the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z, Blackberry Z10 and Nokia Lumia.
Customers were not only told about the features of the phones, but were also able to use the phone to check out the features themselves.
Vodafone Fiji spokesman, Liga Gukisuva, said Vodafone Fiji is the first network provider to bring these high-end handsets to Fiji.
“The response from our customers has been overwhelming,” he said.
Vodafone Fiji has brought the most anticipated Android Smartphone, ‘Samsung Galaxy S4’, in the Fijian market just after one month of its offi

Mr Gukisuva said: “We are proud to be able to better offer our customers the products and services that enhances their information experiences.
“The Smart phone’s are an integral component of our data strategy.
“With the highest 3G+ coverage in Fiji, Vodafone Fiji is well positioned in empowering people to create, enjoy and share content and experiences like never before.”
Vodafone Fiji public relations specialist, Fozia Mukhtar, said they have attracted a lot of interest for these top-end smartphones during the Showcase.
She confirmed people had actually been buying these phones after trying out the features themselves.
