According to Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Brent Hill, Fijians now own about 65% of tourism properties, indicating significant growth in Fijian ownership in the sector over the last decade.
Of these properties, six hotels are owned by the Fiji National Provident Fund: Sheraton Resort, Westin Resort, Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa, Holiday Inn Suva, Yatule Beach Resort Limited, and the Grand Pacific Hotel.
In addition, the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club course and development land are also owned by the Fund.
