The Government wants to put more meat in governing legislations to prevent employers from proprietary breach, Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation, has said.
Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation industrial relations consultant, Noel Tofinga, was at Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi, where he held consultations to that effect.
The Government delegated the Employment Relations Advisory Board (ERAB) to redesign the Employment Relations Act, 2007.
Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation, as the most representative organisation in Fiji, is tasked to represent all Employers in Fiji in ERAB.
The board first met on March 8, 2023, where it asked the tripartite to consult and discuss the impending changes that the ERAB will deliberate on.
