Approval has been given by the Attorney-General and Minister for Public Enterprises for a bonus payout for Airports Fiji Limited staff.
This has been confirmed by the chairman of Airports Fiji, Faiz Khan.
The bonus would be for the financial year ending December 31, 2010.
In a letter to Mr Khan, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum stated: “Following consultations with the Prime Minister, approval is hereby granted for the bonus payout in the sum of $377,734.”
This will be divided and paid to those eligible.
Mr Khan stressed their workforce is an important stakeholder.
“I am glad that we can continue to build strong two way alliances,” he said.
