Sunil Singh is the managing director of Shiva’s Restaurant which opened its Suva outlet at the MHCC Food Court recently.
He recently opened the fourth addition to his line of restaurants, its first three outlets are in Sigatoka with the name of Shiva’s Wine & Dine, Fast food Takeaway and Pizza Inn.
Mr Singh was inspired at an early age when deciding which type of business to venture into, and has been in the food business for the past 13 years.
The father of two children said he would expand his business to the Northern Division should the opportunity cross his path.
The Sigatoka native has provided employment to a total of 40 staff.
How many places have you visited around Fiji?
I have been around Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, but I have never been to other maritime islands.
I have also been to Outrigger, Warwick, and Holiday Inn.

What is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to?
Kadavu Island.
I have heard of its beautiful scenery, and would to visits provide unique experiences for guests.

What is your favourite place for coffee/ pie?
I prefer the coffee at any of my restaurants.
What is your favourite backyard spot?
I enjoy playing a game of soccer, and visiting friends for dinner.
What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list?
Yanuca Island.
