Music is an economic driver for communities. It provides jobs, social cohesion, and can strengthen a city’s brand, fuels growth and economic activity in areas such as tourism, hospitality, media, and the creative industries.
Meet Joe Ramagfon, a professional ukelele and a guitar expert.
He has been in the music and entertainment industry since 2021 to bring smiles and happiness to guests he performs for.
He began his musical journey when he was five years old by playing the guitar from one note and progressed.
Apart from performing live music, Mr Ramagfon has also produced his very own original song with its music, and is available on his YouTube channel and his producer’s YouTube channel, WaterLand Studio Production.
Mr Ramagfon hopes that the music industry will grow at a bigger scale and there will be an academy to produce quality musicians who will create music that is connected to the soul.
How many places have you visited around Fiji?
I have visited alot of places, and performed at various resorts within Viti Levu.

What is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to?
Golden Point Resort in Rakiraki.
The view is amazing, with its quite and peaceful environment.

What is your favourite place for coffee/pie?
Mana Coffee.
They serve quality food and the quantity is worth it.

What do you do in your spare time?
During my spare time I always create new tunes, new guitar solos and sing as well.
What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list?
Laucala Island.
I have never been there and hopefully get to perform there one day.
