I agree with Charles Chambers.
Festivals held at Lautoka City’s Churchill Park are worthless and in no order have the adequate efforts put in by the public or any others on running the festival.
It’s just a waste of time, space and money. If you walk up to the grounds now you will see almost 95 per cent of the stalls are empty and one old fun ride operating without anyone riding on it.
If you walk past the ground at night you will notice six floodlights which are kept on all night until 8am.
No one even needs those flood lights and I wonder who is paying the bills.
On that note I think the floodlights are kept on for the party goers who come out from clubs in the early hours of the morning to have a sleep at the grounds and keep them safe.
Well the reputation of Lautoka City is getting worse and I wonder what the mayor and concerned authorities are going to do about it.
Or have they turned a blind eye too.
