The Fiji Bus Operators Association has received an increase in sponsorship as a result of continuous good business relationship with Asco Motors.
The sponsorship of $5000 will go towards funding the association’s annual convention and annual general meeting at Novotel Lami Bay this Saturday.
Asco Motors regional parts and service manager-South Seas, Richard Rahiman, said the increased sponsorship is a commitment to their good working relationship.
“Initially, we had sponsored for the last four years the sum of $3000 but this year we have increased it to $5000,” he said.
“This is mainly because they (the Fiji Bus Operators Association) have really come onboard and supported our business.”
Fiji Bus Operators Association president Richard Lal said the association was proud to be in a long-standing relationship with Asco Motors.
“We are happy to be dealing with Asco and their products as well because we know they are good and quality products,” he said.
The funds will go towards funding the annual general meeting and the convention as well as other needs that the association may have going forward.
