The Bonefish Seafood restaurant at Port Denarau is undergoing close to $0.5 million revamp/refurbishment by the owners, Jack’s of Fiji.
Jack’s Restaurant Limited Operations manager, Vishal Sami, revealed this during the Bonefish Seafood Restaurant’s 6th year anniversary celebrations on Sunday night.
“We are doing renovation on Bonefish for contemporary modern kitchen with a bar and lounge inside,” he said.
“The new project should take us two months to be completed.”
While the works are being done, Mr Sami said the operations of the restaurant will continue as normal.
Gaining popularity
Mr Sami added that Bonefish, since opening its door in 2010, has gained popularity among guests.
“It has been a very big success in the past six years and we look forward for the rest of the years to unfold,” he said.
“Every year has been a challenging year for us and we have been overcoming ourselves.
“Guest know that whenever they need seafood, then Bonefish is the place to be.
“Bonefish is committed to proving healthy menu items with majority of the ingredients coming from our Jack’s farm in Legalega which reduces outsourcing.
“We use 95 per cent of local food as we are working with local farmers and produce distributors to provide our guests with the freshest and creating more signature dishes with lots of Fijian flair we are a famous for.”
Mr Samis aid Bonefish is dedicated to being on the forefront of sustainability a well as social and environmental responsibility.
The restaurant is determined to impact social and environmental responsibility.
“Bonefish is determined to impact both the health and wellness of our guests, and the quality of our community and environment,” he said.
Bonefish Seafood Restaurant employs a total of 35 staff members with 18 in the front line.
